Counting begins for 8 Bihar Legislative Council seats, BJP-JDU vs Jan Suraaj Party in tight fight

Maharashtra’s election administration published the final polling percentage for the 2026 biennial Legislative Council elections covering three graduates’ and two teachers’ constituencies on October 24. The figures offer a useful picture of participation in elections conducted through specialised electoral constituencies. The announcement is relevant to political parties because these contests provide a separate channel of representation for registered graduates and teachers, although polling figures alone cannot establish which party has gained an advantage.
